Meet Ronald Willis

Ronald Willis is the owner of Willis Outdoors LLC. He grew up around the family fence business. As a young child, he spent time cleaning the shop and organizing parts before he was old enough to work with the crews.

At 14, he began going out with the crews during summer breaks. He continued working summers through high school and college, learning the trade by being on the job and doing the work. While in college, he also began estimating jobs during the summer.

After college, Ron went into another career before returning several years later to help with the family business. His work in the fence industry eventually included leadership and teaching as well. Working with other contractors gave him opportunities to share what he had learned, while also learning from people with different experience and approaches to the trade.
